the kpg torrent was a collection of korean music that I managed for fun in my spare time. it was 'forked' from the original kpg torrent. after two years of working on the collection, I have decided to put the project to rest. all relevant information has been collected below.

• over 90% of all audio files in the library are lossless
• high quality album art embedded in each file, alongside a Cover.jpg
• organised and consistent tags
• release date tagged in YYYYMMDD format e.g. 20010911
• agency / publisher tagged for every album
• organised and consistent folder structure e.g.
• flacs encoded at level 8 with reference to libFLAC 1.4.3 or later versions
• ReplayGain 2.0 tags applied to all audio files

future of the kpg torrent

I hope someone else in the community can pick up where I'm leaving off and continue the work myself and the original torrent anon started. all of the information required to do this can be found in my library maintenance guide. I also have a TODO list of future changes I had planned to make:

• convert all mp3 tags to v2.4
• synchronise publisher tag stylisation across the library
• for groups, ensure publisher tag only ever contains the main agency they're under
